Simpatico is a 12 year old 17.1 hand registered pure Spanish Andalusian gelding. His name means nice, friendly and agreeable in Spanish. This is exactly what he is! Simpatico is the sweetest, most lovable gentle giant of a horse, who will end up being your heart horse for sure. He is absolutely gorgeous, with his white fur and striking long, thick contrasting dark grey mane and tail, big dark eyes and black accents around his muzzle. His bloodlines are amazing! With such a pedigree including phenomenal horses such as Violetero RAM II, Educado X, and Centella V in his bloodlines, it is no wonder Simpatico is so talented and fun to ride! Simpatico has the smoothest gaits Andalusians are famous for. Riding him truly feels like sitting on a cloud!! He has a beautiful walk, amazingly smooth seated trot, fun posting trot, and smooth as silk canter. Simpatico knows his laterals, lead changes and also is proficient in his piaffe, passage and can do canter pirouettes with ease!! Simpatico has shown into second level and can take you far with your riding and showing goals! We have worked extensively with Simpatico outside the arena as well. He will walk right past a growling, barking dog lunging at him without flinching. He will stand stock still when loads of heavy snow slide off the barn roof. He will stand still and watch casually as tractors, hay equipment and noisy dump trucks rumble by. Simpatico is truly a treasure. On the trail, or in the field, he is a willing and fun riding partner as well! Simpatico is trained to 2 strands of electric fence and has never challenged that! He has absolutely no vices, no bad habits, never injured or had any need for a vet except for when he was gelded and has received his vaccinations. Simpatico has great, strong feet, is currently barefoot and has good bone and beautiful conformation. He is wonderful and quiet in his stall and great in his paddock.
