He’s been around all types of machinery, such as bulk feeders, tractors, and skid steers. Recently Bert has been a trail horse, playday horse, and lesson horse. He is super gentle and absolutely trust worthy with the young riders. He allows the lesson kids to learn and be comfortable but if they do make a mistake he is forgiving and remains broke. He has been used to teach beginners to ride, to teach kids how to lope in the bigger out door arena, and even aided in teaching kids how to track cattle.
