In der Dressur bringt er tolle Bewegungen mit sich, ist ruhig und nicht hitzig oder zu sensibel am Schenkel, daher auch für schwache Reiter geeignet. Er vermittelt ein gutes und sicheres Gefühl. Bandalero ist weich zu sitzen und leicht in die Anlehnung zu reiten. Im Umgang total schmusig und ein kleiner Quatschkopf, er mag es total betüddelt zu werden. Mag auch Bodenarbeit sowie beherrscht er den spanischen Schritt. AKU hat er auch dabei .
