Unicorn ALERT!! Every little cowboy/cowgirl needs a Snip!! Snip is 7 year old GRULLO gelding quarter pony that stands a PERFECT 42 inches… so not too small not to big for your little rider. Snip is sound, has great feet with no founder issues. Snip is as friendly as they come. He is easy to catch, stands to be saddled and bridled, loads/unloads, picks up all 4 legs with ease, and will go anywhere you point him without hesitation! He has been used to check cow calf pairs, trail ride, give lessons, and has been to the barrel races so he is used to right lights, loud speakers, crowds of people and all the other ruckus that comes along with that! The only reason Snip is available is that the jockey upgraded to a horse this year so its time for Snip to go help make another kids dream come true! As you can see in this MUST watch video, Snip rides well indoors or outdoors… through deep sticky mud, over ice, or snow covered trails… he is a true ranch or trail pony and nothing bothers him! Snip crosses water, logs, climbs the big hills and is ready to go work along side of mom or dads big horses or head out on his own. You can ride him alone or with a buddy and he doesn’t care either way. Snip will lead the way on a trail or follow along in the string with no issues. He will do the barrel pattern and roping does not bother him either. As seen in the video Snip will ride in a halter, pony hackamore, or a simple snaffle bit. The kids have ridden him EVERYWHERE and I do mean everywhere! They have drug branches out of the field, rode through our obstacles, he is not scared of the dogs following along, not intimidated by our big Longhorns or anything for that matter. We feel that Snip would also excel in an English program. Snip canters nice circles and picks up both leads each time. He is brave, but calm. He easily transitions in between his walk, trot, and canter. Along with Snip riding so well, he also drives! Snip is safe enough that the kids can harness and drive him alone.
