Butler wird natürlich regelmäßig geimpft und entwurmt. Auch die Hufbearbeitung findet selbstverständlich alle paar Wochen statt wobei er sich hier stets kooperativ zeigt. Er läuft barhuf und kommt damit bislang sehr gut zurecht.
