Auch kleinere Sprünge meistert er mit einem erfahrenen Reiter souverän. Bei seinen derzeitigen Besitzern nahm er u.a. an Abteilungsstunden und dem stallinternen WBO-Turnier teil.

Dieses Traumpony benötigt eine ponyerfahrene Bezugsperson, die mit dem notwendigen Pferdeverstand mit ihm umgeht. Wir sehen ihn daher eher nicht geeignet für reine Anfänger, sondern perfekt passend für ältere Jugendliche oder Erwachsene die er mit seinen 1,48m auch gut abdeckt.

Dandy ist sehr sozial verträglich und geht im Herdenverband auf der Koppel.

Selbstverständlich wurde er regelmäßig entwurmt, geimpft, osteopathisch behandelt und dem Hufschmied vorgestellt (aktuell vorne beschlagen).
