Creekside’s Pieter Boy (Barn Name Commander) is a 6 year old Registered Friesian Sport horse gelding, standing 16H and weighing 1,150lbs. He has loads of personality and loves people! Commander will ride English or Western and drives in anything that you ask him too. He is a very handsome mover with lots of talent and versatility. He could go into dressage, jumping, driving or just go out and ride on the trails. He has been in our program for almost a year now and has had several months of arena work and is responding well to leg and seat cues, he has nice walk, trot, canter and smooth easy transitions. He is a nice straight forward moving horse. Has had been on the trails, does great with obstacles, creeks and ditches. Commander has been driven extensively, he will stand to hitch and unhitch quietly, has been driven on state roads and in heavy traffic with fast moving cars and semi-trucks. I would not consider him a total beginners horse but is very manageable for an intermediate rider on up. He is a real sweetheart, loves to be groomed and is gentle to shoe, clip, bathe, tack etc. He gets along well with others in the pasture and is easy to catch.
