Caballo Horsemarket: Special gelding for the discerning recreational rider

Riko is a powerfully built, very robust 14-year-old Fuchs gelding. He is a cold-blooded/warmblood mix (dam Polish cold-blooded, father Silesian warmblood), height approx. 1.63

A few years ago, hoof cartilage ossification diagnosed at the back left - with special shoeing absolutely problem-free. Otherwise, no illnesses or other health problems so far.

Husbandry so far: Box and all year round as well as all day outside in gelding herd.

Handling: decent, but can also be a "tramp" if he gets the upper hand. Good and consistent leadership should therefore always be given.

Riko is good to ride. Although a bit in need of motivation due to the breed, he still works diligently and is very willing to learn. Off-road, he is cool, courageous, sure-footed, absolutely roadworthy and compatible with other horses.

Riko was ridden in a western way as well as one-handed with a curb and underlay bridle in cavalry riding according to HdV12.

Riko is given up because he unfortunately reaches his limits for our riding activity and we want to spare him excessive strain and stress. Riko is an excellent and very comfortable riding horse - even for longer tours.

Viewing and trial preparation is possible in the evening (25€, settlement upon purchase). I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about what we have done with him so far - (active cavalry riding, cavalry with the Bund Oberschwäbischer Landsknechte, knight tournaments, participation in theater performances, and much more).

Riko can be handed in at the earliest from the 18th of June, as we will be present with him on the 17th of June in Munich on the Day of the Bundeswehr at various equestrian demonstrations of the German Cavalry Association.
