…dieser super schicke barocke Welsh Cob Wallach gehört der Sektion D an mit einem Stockmaß von 1.58m und einem Röhrbeinumfang von 21cm. Seine Ausstrahlung erinnert an einen stolzen spanischen Hengst.

Vor knapp 1.5 Jahren begann seine Karriere als Reitpferd. Anfangs wurde er nach klassisch englischen Grundsätzen grundausgebildet und wird nun nach akademischer Reitkunst weiter gefördert. Er ist aufmerksam, lernt schnell, ist sehr dressuraffin und engagiert.

Whisky ist straßen-, verkehrs,- und geländesicher – an der Hand sowie unter dem Sattel. Von seiner Umwelt lässt er sich kaum beeindrucken. Charakterlich vereint er die Stärke und das Selbstbewusstsein eines Ponys mit dem Ehrgeiz eines Sportpferdes. Im Umgang ist er absolut unkompliziert, vor allem mit kleinen Kindern und „schwächeren“ Personen zeigt er sich sehr einfühlsam.

Dennoch ist er kein Anfängerpferd, da er einen ambitionierten und routinierten Reiter benötigt der mit seiner teilweise dominanten aber gleichzeitig sensiblen Art zurecht kommt.

Aktuell steht er im Offenstall und ist eher als ranghoch einzuordnen. Für ihn wäre eine geschlechtergetrennte Herde optimal oder eine Boxenhaltung mit Paddock/ und täglichem Auslauf.
