The Alt Oldenburger (also known as Alt-Ostfriese) is a Warmblood horse and has its origin in East Friesland .
Der Alt-Oldenburger ist das schwerste deutsche Warmblutpferd. Er kommt vorwiegend in den Farben Rappe, Brauner, Schimmel und (Dunkel-) Fuchs vor.
Die Rasse wird vorwiegend als Fahr-, Reit-, und Arbeitspferd verwendet.
